Yi Xiang Ler Chinese Musical Centre originated in the city known as Xiang Fei called Muar, Johor. It started by Mr. Soh Book Kim who is the Malaysia well-known Chinese Musical director and conductor.
Yi Xiang Ler Chinese Musical Centre officially registered in 1993, it formerly known as “The Class of Soh Family.” From the 80’s, the members – Soh Zhong Han, Soh Zhong Hao, Soh Neng Si won numerous awards in National Chinese Music Competition and follow by Soh Zhong Yang, Soh Zhong Yao, Soh Neng Ying, and Soh Zhong Nie in the 90’s.
Today, the standard of Yi Xiang Ler Chinese Musical Centre had been improve, the candidate from the centre awarded The Outstanding Candidates in the examination of Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing China for two consecutive years and been sponsors to Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing China to continue their music study.
The Yi Xiang Ler Orchestra is a band with a high standard: most of the members are well-known in the Malaysia Chinese Music industry. Meanwhile, also obtained distinction in the examination of Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing China and been invited to perform around Malaysia.

Who can join our programs?
All you need is a zeal to learn traditional Chinese music & you are welcome here to join us. Currently, we are enrolling kids (7 to 12 years), teenagers (13 to 18 years), working adults (25 to 50 years) & retired senior citizens (60 years & above).
